Teamed up with PetSmart Charities to bring awareness to the millions of adoptable pets who need homes and to encourage others to make a difference this holiday season.
Pro Player Health Alliance (PPHA), an organization dedicated to awareness campaigns sponsored the First Annual Bret Michaels Life Rocks Foundation. His foundation supports such wonderful causes such as children with diabetes, childhood cancer, neurological foundations, Wounded Warriors and other Veterans organizations. The event that PPHA sponsored was the PetSmart Charity to help save the lives of pets. Half of the 8 million pets who end up in shelters are euthanized—about 11,000 pets a day — because they don’t have a home.
“It feels incredible to give back to the community. We are pet lovers and felt that by supporting this cause and our community we could help to save the lives of so many innocent animals that are in need of good homes,” said David Gergen, President of Pro Player Health Alliance.
“The event was spectacular and it was so amazing to see such support from the community,” said Laura Geyer, EVP of Operations with Pro Player Health Alliance.
